What is the status window?
The status window allows Gogo to display your connection status (poor, good, excellent, etc.) as well as communicate important information during your flight (upcoming outages, etc.) We will continue to develop more functionality as time goes on.
Which airlines and flights can I use Gogo on?
Gogo is currently available on select flights for American Airlines and Virgin America Airlines. For more information regarding specific city pairings, please see the Participating Airlines page of our Portal.
Is it safe to use Wi-Fi in flight?
Passenger security and safety is of utmost importance to Gogo. Before allowing our service to be used onboard the plane, all aspects of its use were rigorously tested by Gogo and our airline partners and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Is Aircell a publically traded company?
At this time, Aircell is a privately held company and has no plans in the near future to change that.
